A retention problem turns out to be an onboarding problem. A communication problem turns out to be a question of who is allowed to decide. Work that starts from the stated problem tends to solve the wrong thing very well.
Leadership, people, systems, strategy, and adoption are not separate projects. They move together, and they fail together. A strategy nobody can operate is not a strategy. A system nobody trusts does not get used.
The work is to make a complicated situation understandable enough to decide on, and actionable enough to move on. Not simpler than it is. Understandable.
